By calling 1-877-427-2222 you will be getting information about the validity of the check and what bank it belongs to.  The system is not intended to verify funds or tell you if the check is real of fake, but it can assist you in finding this information in a number of ways.

First way - checklookup.com is updated every day by every bank that is registered with the Federal Reserve. All of the information is 100% current, guaranteed.

Second way - the routing number is validated or declined. If your routing number is invalid or not present, you can determine that the check is not good or not real.
